turns 40, but did you know....
Whether you’re
a die-hard fan of the movie franchise or not, you know or at least have heard the
music, main characters, such as Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi and R2D2, and the memorable
and popular lines, such as“May the Force be with you,” and “I’ve
got a very bad feeling about this.”
It was four
decades ago when the famous opening trumpet fanfare and roaring triumphant
march, composed by John Williams and performed by the London Symphony
Orchestra, stunned every audience in the theater. Then first opening crawl appeared
on the screen to begin the Star Wars saga, "A long time ago in a galaxy
far, far away...."

"It is a period of civil war. Rebel
spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against
the evil Galactic Empire.
During the battle, Rebel spies managed to
