Mexico's President Calderon seeks to change country's name.
How many of you know that the official name of Mexico isn’t
just Mexico or the Republic of Mexico, but the United States of Mexico, Estados
Unidos Mexicanos, just like its northern neighbor. It is a nation where affluence,
poverty, natural beauty and urban blight coexist with a population of nearly
the one Japan. There 31 states, which form a union that exercises a degree of
jurisdiction over the Federal District and other territories and each state has
its own constitution, congress, and a judiciary.
