How to feed 5,000
people a day
A cruise ship could
carry, accommodate and entertain as many as 5,000 passengers whose quest is to be
from their ordinary work and routines. They expect to enjoy their best vacations
on board spending relaxing time on the deck with sea breeze, exciting evenings in
the disco or casino with music and more importantly having extraordinary
enticing meals of highest quality.
Since there is no
other place to eat or drink, as many as five thousand highly demanding passengers
need to be fed timely and in a highest possible manner. And don’t forget another
1,400 crew members who will be as hungry as the guests.
Then, how much
food and beverages need to be stocked, served and trashed?
