Sea-level rise from polar ice melt finally quantified.
It must have taken a lot of research, studies, discussions, concessions,
consideration, cooperation and coordination to bring about a consensus on any
one disputed topic, especially a very complicated one such as how much of the
sea-level rise was caused by ice melt in the polar regions.
That is estimated to be around 11mm plus or minus 3.8mm.
Simple and convincing enough for anyone to understand the effects of the global
warming.
However, in order to forecast the effects of the global
warming for the next decades, we may need not only cooperation of the
scientists but also the leaders of CO2 emitting countries, as well as the
consensus of at COP and UN.
Enjoy reading and learning about this valued analysis contributed
by the tremendous efforts of the world scientists.
