A new study found that the risk of developing cognitive problems rises significantly after their 10th birthday, just like humans. Indeed, while a small dog’s 10th birthday is like 53rd for humans, it’s like 70th for big dogs. How should dog owners deal with it? It’s the same as humans. A healthy diet, regular exercise, and mental activity like food puzzles seem to slow the decline of CCD.
We all age, and so do dogs.
