Topic Reading-Vol.1025-1/31/2015

Dear MEL School’s Topic Readers,
Keys to Academic Improvement as a U.S. College Student
Those who are intending to study abroad, here is a piece of advice by a sophomore from Vietnam studying in America. According to his experience, there seem to be a lot of things-to-be-avoided when international students begin their college life and work, which are quite different from the high school life in their homeland. Indeed. the level of freedom, entertainment, association, experience and excitement in American college is far beyond what a foreign student can imagine.
Then the question is how international students can and should manage themselves between academic performance and personal interests.
Enjoy reading and finding what is needed to spend a fruitful freshman year in college in the US.
