China joins Arctic Council but a decision on the EU is
deferred.
When global warming melts ice, as mentioned in the last
issue on Mt. Everest, in and around Polar Regions, people, enterprises and
countries of other regions become eager to join the circle to discuss how to
get benefits from them, even as observers.
It’s so sad to find such interests or initiatives have never
been displayed when the agenda of the causes are only on protecting the
environment.
