Dear MEL
Topic Readers,
The end of
the filling station?
Gas stations.
No matter how fuel efficient a gasoline-engine car is, it still needs to be pumped
gas at some point. There used to be sufficient number of gas stations even in
the large cities like New York or London. But quite a few number of them are
gone while the number of gasoline fueled vehicles on the road has been
increasing. Is that because newer cars are so fuel-efficient that the total gas
consumption declined?
Despite the growing
concern about the global warming, such technological advancement has yet to be
seen. So why are there fewer gas stations in countries where there are more
cars on the road?
Enjoy reading
the article and learn the economics of gas stations.
