Opinion: Japanese politicians still struggle with wartime past.

Is it time for Japanese politicians to cause further problems on sensitive issues with its neighboring countries and their people on top of territorial disputes and notorious North Korean issues are on the table? Are politicians supposed to simply express what they think or they should represent what his or her supporters expect? In any case, how long do Japanese people bear with such thoughtless and inconsiderate politicians and their words?
Later, the US state department officially and strongly condemned the comment as outrageous and offensive.
