Church of England general synod votes against women bishops.
The higher the rank is, the more liberal a person could be?
In order for the Church of England to pass the legislation to
approve the appointment of women as bishops, it requires two-thirds majorities
in each of the synod's three houses, the bishops were for, so were the clergies
but not the laity, the members of the churches, by a very narrow margin.
Enjoy reading and learning about the sensitivity of women
becoming high-rank church positions, even in Christianity.
