Are we on the
brink of the first mile-high building?
How high would you
like to live, work or shop in? How low would you like to look down the streets
from your residence? Or how close would you like to be to the sky?
Tall buildings or
sky scrapers don’t seem to be enough to describe how tall a building is, like a
millionaire doesn’t seem to be rich enough these days ever since numbers of billionaires
emerged. So, new up-scaled terms have been created like super-tall skyscraper
for towers over 300 meters or higher and mega-talls for ones 600 meters or
higher. What’s next? A mile-high?
And you might
think how you would go up and down within such a tall building? How long it
would take to get down to the street for work or to get up to the office a few hundred
meters above?
