Dear MEL Topic Readers,
300 drones flew above Seoul to thank
frontline workers and encourage coronavirus preventative measures
A unique way to thank the medical workers who
work in the frontline and encourage people to keep the preventive measures. A drone
show in the night sky. South Korea, where technologies are the key to survival
and prosperity, is also in the midst of fighting the coronavirus. The
government flew 300 drones to perform a 10-minute synchronized light show above
the Han River in Seoul. They presented images of medical workers to appreciate
their dedicated work. Also, they created images of handwashing, masks, and even
social distancing to remind everyone to do their part. It sounds like a nice
touch, doesn’t it?
While there are countries whose confirmed
cases have already gone over million because of their leaders’ ignorance about Covid-19,
East-Asian countries like Korea, Japan, and Taiwan seem to have contained the
spread of the virus much more effectively.
Enjoy watching the drone show in Seoul’s
night sky.
