Dear MEL
Topic Readers,
It is almost
impossible to herd cats, thanks to evolution
Cats are
independent and solitary animal, in general. Unlike dogs or birds, they don’t
live in a group. They try to stay away from others and tend to fight each other
when they accidentally encounter. Even when they are domesticated, they aren’t
loyal to their owners. Unlike dogs, they approach people only when they want
to.
Why are dogs
and cats so different even though both have been humans’ friends for long? And
why are cats so distinct from their close relative, lions, which usually form a
group to dominate a territory and hunt and share preys?
Enjoy
reading and learning the distinctive differences between cats and other
animals, birds and fish.
