China offers the most
diversified and sophisticated food menus. The longest and most prosperous
history has created a variety of local cousins in coastal and inland, wet and
dry, and hot and cold regions. The most famous regional cooking styles known as
“Eight Regional Cuisines" are; Shandong, Sichuan, Anhui, Guangdong,
Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. These styles are distinctive from one
another because of available resources, climate, geography, history, cooking
techniques and lifestyle.
These major
cooking styles are just classifications of Chinese food but not the popular,
